Brief Bio

Reared on a farm. This imprint is lifelong. Harvested hay before balers. Drove team of horses before driving a tractor. Milked cows by hand before suction milkers. Separated cream from milk with hand driven centrifuge. Hand primed and pumped household water before indoor plumbing. Hoe'd row crops, picked potatoes, tomatoes, and peas; thinned and topped sugar beets. Butchered hogs, beef and chickens. Active in 4-H and FFA. Rural is different than urban life. Enjoy competitive athletics, hunting, fishing, camping and pack horse excursions in the back country.

High School graduate, college: bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees. Taught grades 7-12, college level courses, human relations, foundations of education, religious education, social research and business consultant. Published author. University professor for undergraduate and graduate student studies. Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Military service: Lab Tech, U.S. Army Medical Corps (Korea).
Past President: Far West Philosophy of Education Society. Bishop and Stake President. Married 50 plus years to my eternal companion, Joan Robertson, and we have 37 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren at the moment.
